Service Description:

Education, programs and support to people living with arthritis

Arthritis Rehabilitation and Education Program (AREP): Community-based rehabilitation program * physiotherapists, occupational therapists and social workers available * individual consultation and group education sessions

Topics may include:

dealing with pain
arthritis medications
exercises to reduce stiffness, increase strength and improve fitness
new ways to be active and minimize stress on joints
coping with the emotional impact of arthritis
self-management strategies

Support and Self-Management Programs:

mental health and well-being

managing chronic pain
navigating your healthcare
overcoming fatigue
