Service Description: Visiting Hospice - companionship and respite care providing emotional support to people and their family/caregivers dealing with a life-threatening illness 

Program Services:
  • Home Visiting/ Caregiver Respite
  • Hospital/ Long-term Care Visiting
  • Over-the-Phone Support
  • One-on-One Grief and Bereavement Support
  • Support Groups (see below)

Bereavement Services - trained volunteers provide one-on-one support to individuals and families grieving the loss of a loved one or friend

Bereavement Support Groups
- held in various communities throughout the year where people can share their grief journey in a safe, confidential environment.

Fees: Free
Application: Self-referral or by a family member, caregiver, friend or health care professional
Eligibility / Target Population: Residential requirement: North, Central, and South Frontenac Individuals 18 years and older who have been diagnosed with a life-limiting or terminal illness
Languages: English
Language Notes: French programs offered
